Read and discuss what you’re watching, what you should be watching, and what should never see the light of day.
On top of mainstream and independent movies showing in the city, Make the Cut supports amateur and student filmmakers through our Weekly Amateur Video feature. So send me your amateur films (or ones that you’ve found and enjoyed online), and we’ll broadcast them, discuss them, and try to go easy on you.

You NYers get so many more movies than we in smaller burbs. It’s a great help to have a blog that alerts us to good movies, performances and scripts that we otherwise would never know existed.
